 KSA Participates in IMEX Exhibition 2017 in Germany To Attract International Conferences and Meetings

The Saudi Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB), has completed its preparations to participate in IMEX, which is held in Frankfurt, Germany, during the period 20-22 of the month of Shaban 1438H.

 

IMEX is considered one of the most important international exhibitions specialized in attracting international meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, marketing the suppliers' services, and highlighting business tourism potentials for international destinations.

 

This Exhibition provides communication opportunities between parties of the meeting industry from around the world, as well as a platform to sign agreements.

 

The Exhibition is held annually on an area of 33 thousand square meters, where more than 3,500 exhibitors from 150 countries participate representing exhibition and conference authorities, exhibition and conference companies, tourism destination management companies, specialized associations, specialized publishing companies, technology companies, and world hotel companies. It is attended annually by more than 4,900 specialists and more than 14,400 visitors.


The SECB seeks to benefit from this participation by marketing the Kingdom as a promising destination to attract international meetings, conferences, and exhibitions and introducing the products, services, business event destinations, and investment opportunities available in this field. Furthermore, the SECB endeavors to build  fruitful relationships between companies, associations and organizations in the Kingdom and its international counterparts and to learn the best international practices and experiences leading to their application at the local level.

 

The SECB shall organize the Kingdom's pavilion at the IMEX in cooperation with the Saudi Embassy in Germany and the Saudi Consulate in Frankfurt, with the participation of 16 private sector companies.
