The Kingdom hosts the World Tourism Day event under the title of "Tourism and Green Investment" on the 27th and 28th of September in Riyadh, marking the most significant assembly of global tourism leaders in the 43-year history of World Tourism Day.
The event is to be attended by more than 500 officials and experts of tourism sector from 120 countries to raises society's awareness of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, and economic value.
It also promotes the values of cross-cultural understanding, sustainability, and investment.
The Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA) plays a prominent role in activating "Tourism and Green Investment", by issuing circulars related to the necessity of applying environmental commitment standards to all those working in the MICE sector to achieve growth and sustainability.
